THE FIRST FIGURADO TO BECOME PART OF COHIBA’S PERMANENT RANGE

Cohiba is the most prestigious brand in the cigar world and the flagship of Habanos. The brand was created in 1966 and until 1982 was available only to heads of state and visiting diplomats and of course for President Fidel Castro himself.

The Pirámides Extra is medium to full bodied using the “selection of the selection” from the best tobacco plantations in San Juan y Martínez and San Luis in the Vuelta Abajo zone within the Pinar del Río region in Cuba. Made with Cohiba’s blend, comprising of Volado, Seco and Ligero, with the former 2 types of leaves undergoing an additional fermentation unique to Cohiba.

In the past, the Cohiba Piramides were created for specific occasions and in limited quantity.The Pirámides Extra will be the first of such Vitola to become part of the standard Cohiba collection. The

Pirámides Extra vitola (ring gauge 54 x 160 mm in length) will be produced exclusively for Cohiba.
